How Can Families In Transition Help?

Families In Transition (F.I.T.) provides
psychoeducational workshops for both children and their
families. These workshops are designed to guide
families in exploring and understanding their range of
feelings regarding life's difficult transitions. Family
values are recognized and respected as an important
foundation which provides stability and individuality.

By participating in the psychoeducational group experience,
children and their families learn that they are not alone and
that other families have similar experiences and
reactions. In addition, they also learn that all feelings
are acceptable, and, that their challenges can be perceived
as positive opportunities for growth.
