My Family Is Changing
Fall/Winter 2003

By participating in this powerfully healing group
experience, children learn that
they are not alone and that other families have similar
experiences and reactions. In addition, they learn that
all feelings are acceptable, and that their challenges can be
perceived as positive opportunities for growth.

In this program, children will ...

  • learn myths and facts of children of divorce
  • understand their range of feelings
  • learn positive methods of communication
  • develop coping skills
  • realize they are not at fault
  • improve their self-esteem
  • learn to avoid getting in the middle between parents

or wonder if their parents will continue to love them."
