How Can Families In Transition Help? Phyllis H. Ivey is a Social Worker with a Masters of Education and a certification as a School Social Worker and Infant Massage Instructor. She has an extensive background in working with children and families who experience separation and divorce, substance abuse and loss. Ms. Ivey is the founder of Families In Transition, which offers groups and workshops to support and educate children and families. As founder and facilitator, she specializes in designing and providing children's programs on divorce, coping with substance abuse, bereavement, social skills and anger management.
